A lifestyle brought to life

West Bay, Roatán, a paradise destination in the heart of The Caribbean.

Islas de la Bahía

A historical and natural treasure in The Caribbean

During the pre-Hispanic period, the Bay Islands were inhabited by the Pech people or Payas Indians.

Since their discovery, these islands were briefly dominated by the English, Dutch, and Spanish at different periods.

Despite the Spanish being the ones who discovered them (during Cristóbal Colon expedition), it was the British who were the first Europeans to settle on these islands. By the late 1600s, buccaneering was at its peak.
